Description
An immaculate hand painted twin cranes barrel bead that’s made using the traditional Chinese Inside Painting technique. To paint the inside of the bead, the artist must paint backwards using an extremely fine paintbrush. Concentration is crucial to make precise strokes due to the limited space. Each bead features two stork facing each other in a pond against the backdrop of a red sun (see photos, video).
In Chinese symbolism, cranes represent longevity.
