Description
An immaculate hand painted koi fish and lotus barrel bead that’s made using the traditional Chinese Inside Painting technique. To paint the inside of the bead, the artist must paint backwards using an extremely fine paintbrush. Concentration is crucial to make precise strokes due to the limited space. Each bead features two koi fishes swimming in a lotus pond (see photos, video).
In Chinese symbolism, koi fishes are represent, wealth, success, and harmony.
